Morning of the last day 😀

Morning all, well the finish line is here and today is the last day of chemo treatment. Last Wednesday went without a hitch and besides over sleeping the last 7 days have been uneventful and without issue. Today will be the final dose of Bleomycin followed by removal of the PICC line from my arm. The line has been in since the start, speaking of which it’s unbelievable how fast the time has flown. Was speaking with another patient during last weeks session and they were of the same thought. When you hear 12 weeks at the start you think it seems such a long time and that it is going to feel like it’s taking forever, but in truth the chemo and dealing with all the side effects keeps you so busy and you are so focused on getting through that in reality the time flies. And now here I am feeling good and 30 minutes treatment to go. Obviously there’s the wait after today to find out if it’s worked and I imagine that time may pass slower but for today celebrating 🥳 crossing the first finish line.

pic of PICC Below 😋 Today is supposed to be red hot and also for the rest of this week so I might finally get to have a BBQ. Every time I have been stuck in hospital there’s been a heatwave where I have been dreaming about having a BBQ but every time I come home the rain hits so this week the dream may finally be a reality. (Yes I’m easily pleased 😀). So if reading this on the day wishing you a lovely day and hoping your somewhere to enjoy it. If not live still wishing you a lovely day wherever you are, and if your going through your own journey I will be crossing my fingers for you and hoping your chemo at least goes as fast as mine and your treatment will be finished soon. As usual peace and love to everybody.
